Watch: Dave Grohl and Billie Joe Armstrong Perform From Their Living Rooms

0

A handful of high-profile musicians teamed up for a network TV broadcast of live performance from their living rooms last night to give Americans quarantined because of the coronavirus a bit of a respite.

Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl and Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong each joined for a song on the appropriately titled hour-long “Living Room Concert for America,” along with Billie Eilish, Elton John, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, the Backstreet Boys, Tim McGraw, Camila Cabello, H.E.R., Sam Smith and more.

We’re guessing the folks reading this article will be most interested in Grohl and Armstrong’s performances, so we’ve embedded those below, but if you’re interested in seeing the others you can seek them out here. Grohl performed perhaps his band’s best-known track, “My Hero,” while advising viewers to sing the last chorus while washing their hands, and Armstrong tackled Green Day’s smash “Boulevard Of Broken Dreams” with a cameo from his dog.

Stay safe out there, everyone.
