Black Veil Brides Have Released a New Song, “Scarlet Cross”

Look, guys: we at MetalSucks have never been fans of Black Veil Brides, and we’ve made no effort to hide that in the past. Watching their new video for the song “Scarlet Cross” gives me all sorts of cringe, as does the statement they released along with it outlining what sounds like a forthcoming concept album. But, like, maybe you’ll enjoy it? Their fans are certainly out there somewhere, and in droves. Maybe that’s you! I’m not trying to yuck your yum.

Here’s that statement:

“We are incredibly excited to share not only this new song ‘Scarlet Cross,’ but also our vision for the world of [upcoming new album] ‘The Phantom Tomorrow’ and its characters. We are in the final stages of writing for this record and have begun work on our forthcoming ‘The Phantom Tomorrow’ graphic novel. We intend to continue to share elements of the story in the coming months and can’t wait for everyone to see what we have been working on!”
