Ola Englund (The Haunted, Feared) Releases “Stars & Ponies” Single From New Solo Album

Ola Englund of The Haunted and Feared fame — as well as a highly successful YouTuber — has unveiled “Stars & Ponies,” the first single from his second solo album, Starzinger.

The new track fuses ’80s rock and modern metal with a healthy dose of synthwave and arrives with a nifty animated video by Costin Chioreanu. Frankly, I’m quite impressed with everything here — the song, the orchestration, the video. Ola is a supremely talented fella, but we knew that already.

Ola himself offers of the track:

“Compared to the previous album ‘Master of The Universe,’ ‘Starzinger’ will just be way more heavy, more of the chunky metal that people are more used to when they see and hear about me. Prog elements are still there though. But emphasis is still about making car-riding music fit for any type of journey.”
