Video: What if Iron Maiden Made “Enter Sandman”?

We’ve highlighted the work of YouTuber Metal Börje — who specializes in eerily accurate reimagined classic metal songs in the style of other bands — on MetalSucks before. In fact, we’ve even posted his version of Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” in the style of Iron Maiden, the very combination we’re highlighting in this post.

But Metal Börje has rebranded his channel as Börje Unchained, and to celebrate he’s re-released his cover of “Enter Sandman” in the style of Iron Maiden… but now with vocals! Those come courtesy of singer Robin Roy who does an impressive job emulating Bruce Dickinson’s unique voice but, ya know, to a Metallica song.

Even if you saw the instrumental version when we first posted it, this one’s worth a watch: not only do Roy’s vocals bring it to the next level, but the instrumental sections alone are no less impressive a second time. It really does sound like “Sandman” as a Maiden song! Have a look and a listen below.
