Video: Dude Plays AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” on Kitchen Glassware

Fin Draper has made a name for himself over the past year thanks to his viral videos, amassing over 1 million followers on Instagram. Draper possesses the unique talent of playing famous songs by striking various sizes of kitchen glassware filled up with different amounts of water, each carefully calibrated to its own pitch. And while his covers primarily tackle songs from the pop realm, his most recent video features one of our own: AC/DC.

Anyone learning guitar will tell you that “Thunderstruck” is one of the first songs beginners can learn that utilizes hammer-ons and pull-offs, but Draper’s rendition — which sees him manning eight glasses, a hi-hat and a bass drum, all while singing — looks about 1,000x more difficult.

Well done, Fin! We humbly request Pantera’s “Cowboys From Hell” if you’re looking for another monophonic gem from the classic metal canon to tackle next.
