Between the Buried and Me Announce New Album Colors II

We knew there was new BTBAM album on the horizon — the band announced they’d finished recording it back in December, and they have a tour scheduled to kick off in August.

What we did not know is that the new BTBAM album would be a sequel to their 2007 masterpiece, Colors.

But it will be! The record — Between the Buried and Me’s tenth full-length — is called Colors II, and will be be out August 20 on Sumerian.

Now, how does Colors II relate to Colors other than sharing a title? Is the connection between the two albums musical? Lyrical? Spiritual? All of the above?

We won’t have to wait long to find out: the first single, “Fix the Error,” is running all day today on SiriusXM’s Liquid Metal channel. So odds are it will make its online debut tomorrow (June 25).
