Trivium Announce New Album; Stream the Single Now

0

Wowie wow wow wow: we’re getting a new Trivium album a mere eighteen months after the last Trivium album, What the Dead Men Say.

The new record, In the Court of the Dragon, will be released October 8 on Roadrunner. Trivium fans not suffering from short-term memory loss will recall that the band released a new song and short film, also called “In the Court of the Dragon,” just last month.

They’ve released a new single, “Feast of Fire,” to coincide with the official album announcement, and it BOPS. It’s not as heavy as the title track, but it’s got a great hook and groove for miles. It makes me wanna hop in the MetalSucksmobile and break some speed limits.

You can check out “Feast of Fire” via the below John Deeb-directed music video. Pre-order In the Court of the Dragon here. The tracklist is as follows:

  1. “X”
  2. “In the Court of the Dragon”
  3. “Like a Sword Over Damocles”
  4. “Feast of Fire”
  5. “A Crisis of Revelation”
  6. “The Shadow of the Abattoir”
  7. “No Way Back Just Through”
  8. “Fall Into Your Hands”
  9. “From Dawn to Decadence”
  10. “The Phalanx”

Trivium start a tour with Megadeth, Lamb of God, and Hatebreed (replacing In Flames) eight days from now. It seems to safe to assume they’ll be playing at least one, if not both, of these new songs on that trek. Here are the dates:
