Trivium Share New Construction Photos of Airplane Hangar Band HQ

Back in August of last year, during what felt like Peak Pandemic but ended up being just the beginning, Trivium shocked the metal world by announcing they’d purchased an abandoned airplane hangar they planned to renovate into an all-encompassing band headquarters, complete with rehearsal space, recording studio, live performance venue, storage and everything else the band could possibly need. While the news was a bit jarring to the system due its outsize nature, you’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who thought it was a bad idea… on the contrary, it was pretty much universally heralded as a brilliant investment.

Nearly a year post-purchase, the band is now well into the renovation process, which they’re planning in stages they estimate to take several years, and they’ve shared some photos of the progress on social media. The new snaps show a mostly-completed rehearsal space lofted above the main hangar floor as well as a storage room below it housing quite an impressive array of gear (this space will purportedly turn into a studio eventually). We also get a look at the front of the hangar where the live performance space will be.

And it all looks dope as hell. Can you imagine being a part of this process? Trivium are basically building the ultimate treehouse / clubhouse / hang zone / mancave we’ve all been dreaming of since little kids and continue to fantasize about to this day. It’s their reality. Amazing!
