Volumes Vocalist Has COVID-19, Will Miss Upcoming Shows

Volumes frontman Michael Barr has tested positive for COVID-19. As a consequence, Barr sat out the band’s show last night, November 10, in Minneapolis, MN.

In a statement, Barr says he will “go into isolation for the next few days.” It’s not presently clear when he’ll return to the band’s current run with Varials, UnityTX, and Kingsmen, of which eight shows remain.

Volumes’ new album, Happier? is out November 19 on Fearless. It’s their first album with Barr since  rejoined to the lineup after a five-year absence in 2020. It will also be the first Volumes record without guitarist Diego Farias, who passed away in early 2020.
