Rammstein Announce New Album Zeit, Release Epic First Single

Earlier this week, it was revealed that industrial-metal legends Rammstein teased that they would be dropping a new single named “Zeit” via a music video. Now, Rammstein have dropped the single — and have announced their new album!

Rammstein’s Zeit comes out April 29th, and is already available for preorder. The first song from the record, the title track “Zeit,” is a melancholy epic, much less danceable and easy on the ears than a song like “Deutschland.” Fans of tracks like “SONNE” will eat this up.

The music video, meanwhile, is beautifully cinematic and poetic. Directed by actor and musician Robert Gwisdek, it examines narratives of time — birth, death, war, growth, and how death waits for us all in the end.
