Yikes, Sounds Like Nita Strauss Really F***ed Up Her Knee

0

It’s not as though Alice Cooper guitarist Nita Strauss is ignorant to the pitfalls of being a hard-touring virtuoso. Only last year, Nita posted footage of Alice accidentally breaking his cane and hitting her in the head with it (it should be noted, for the record, that Nita played through the entire thing). But now, Nita has posted a series of photos and videos about a recent injury she sustained on her knee, and damn, it sounds like she really fucked that shit up.

Yesterday, Nita posted a photo of her looking like she was in the process of passing out, with the following caption:

“After struggling with a bit of knee pain on and off the past couple weeks, it all finally came to a screeching halt on stage last night when I stepped off the castle stairs and my right knee went POP ⚡️ Definitely some of the most overwhelming pain I’ve ever had in my life.

“I was able to power through the show taped up, and spent the morning in the ER in Paso Robles today.

“Still waiting to get an MRI when I get to LA, but it’s safe to say I’ll be skipping any flying 360 jumps for the next few weeks ????

“In the meantime, any tips on dealing with meniscus/ ACL injuries would be very welcome and appreciated ????????”

Shortly thereafter, Nita posted a photo of her in the ER getting a bigass needle shoved in her knee, with the caption:

“MASSIVE shout out and thank you to @drleviharrison for coming into his office on a Sunday to fix me up for tonight’s show. This man is a blessing!!! So beyond grateful for his steady hand and guidance in starting the healing process!!

“We started with a steroid shot and a strong NSAID to get me ready for tonight, as well as some rehabbing exercises.

“Tomorrow is the MRI and then we get the real answers we need for a more permanent course of action.

“I’ll still be taking it very easy on stage tonight – no sprinting or jumping but at least I won’t be in agonizing pain the whole time, thank God!!!

“Sorry for the slightly graphic second pic- I just want to be as transparent as I can as we go through this in case this journey can help someone else!!”

WOOF. This all looks agonizing, and we hope Nita pulls through. That said, she then posted a photo of her wrapping up Alice’s current spring tour, so she’s still at it!
