Watch: Here’s the First Trailer for Rob Zombie’s The Munsters
People have been stoked to see what shock rocker Rob Zombie is doing with his reboot of classic horror-comedy series The Munsters. And now, fans can watch the first teaser trailer for the film below.
As you’ll see in the footage via Rob’s Instagram (also released via EW), the bulk of the trailer is a recreation of the show’s original theme song sequence, in classic black and white. However, the big reveal comes at the end, when we see the family in full color, which looks fuckin’ AMAZING. It also looks, in classic fashion, like Rob isn’t trying to go gritty or cool or anything but old-school with his adaptation — but it’s also becoming pretty clear that characters like Eddie and Marilyn aren’t the main focus here. It’s 3 From Hell, if we’re talking about “Hell” by Squirrel Nut Zippers!
