Slipknot Announce New Tour Dates with Ice Nine Kills and Crown the Empire

While we all sit and wait for more news on the upcoming new album by nine-uvula’ed Iowan sex gorgon Slipknot, the band have decided to offer their fans something to keep them salivating. The band have officially announced a third leg of their Knotfest Roadshow tour, this time with horror-themed metalcore act Ice Nine Kills and just-straight-up-metalcore act Crown the Empire as their openers.

The tour kicks off in late September, and goes for ten dates into early October. Fans can find ticketing info at Slipknot’s website, with the official onsale time this Friday, 6/17, at 10am local time.

This comes hot on the heels of Ice Nine Kills’ announcement that they’ll be hosting their very own horror convention, Silver Scream Con, to go down August 26th to August 28th at the Hilton Double Tree Boston North Shore in Danvers, Massachusetts.

Says the band:

The Silver Scream Con will bring horror fanatics and INK fans from all over the world together to celebrate their love of on- screen slaughter. This is the chance for our loyal psychos to not only interact with the band, but to meet the incredible stars of the very films that our music pays tribute to.”

You can get for that event tickets via the festival’s web portal.

Meanwhile, fans should catch Slipknot, Ice Nine Kills, and Crown the Empire on the road later this year. To get a taste of what you’ll witness, check out our photos from the first leg of the tour featuring Slipknot and Wage War, and the second featuring featuring Slipknot, Cypress Hill, and Ho99o9.
