Clutch Reveal Details for New Album Sunrise on Slaughter Beach

We’ve known there was a new Clutch album coming for some time, given all of the singles that the band have recently released. And now, we know the details of that album, and they’re pretty terrific overall.

Clutch’s new album will be titled Sunrise on Slaughter Beach (righteous), and will come out September 16th on Weathermaker Music. The album is not yet available for preorder; the tracklisting and cover art can be found below.

Says drummer Jean-Paul Gaster:

“The more the songs took shape, the less I saw that kind of an album. Something different took shape. The record we ended up with is, in some ways, the most different record we’ve made in a long time.”

More than anything, we want to thank the band for naming a song “Nosferatu Madre.” That’s a fucking hilarious turn of phrase.
