Khemmis Name Glacial Tomb’s David Small as Their New Bassist

0

It only took a couple years, but doom metal band Khemmis are once again operating at full capacity with the recent announcement that the Denver-based outfit were permanently adding bassist David Small into their ranks. The announcement came just days before the band embarked on their tour with Trivium, Between The Buried And Me and Whitechapel.

The announcement, made via the band’s various social media platforms, revealed that the band decided to add Small to their formidable rhythm section after spending the last two years with him on the road. Small was originally brought on to fill the void left when Dan Beiers left the band in 2020.

As per their announcement, the band said they were ‘excited’ that Small agreed to continue with the band in an official capacity.

“We are even more excited that this is our first tour with [David Small] as an official member of Khemmis! If you’ve seen us live with Dave, you know he’s a headbanging maniac and an absolute bass wizard. We are honored to call him friend, bandmate, and brother. Give Dave a big ol’ welcome, everybody!”
