August Burns Red to Celebrate 20th Anniversary by Touring Next Year

0

Not very bands make it to the two decade mark, so when one does meet that milestone, it’s cause for celebration. Which is why metalcore act August Burns Red is planning to go on a 43-date trek across the U.S. that eventually ends in Canada from February 15 to May 12, 2023.

Not only will the tour commemorate the band’s two decade mark, but it will also be in support of the band’s new album Death Below, which will come out on March 24. Coming along for the celebratory ride will be The Devil Wears Prada and Bleed From Within.

August Burns Red lead guitarist JB Brubaker said he and his bandmates were excited to go on such a long tour to commemorate their 20th anniversary.

“Where does the time go? I can remember playing 250 shows a year and touring in our van like it was yesterday. We are so grateful to have had the support of our fans year in and year out for two decades. We thank you, and cannot wait to celebrate with you!”

Though it’s a long list of tour dates, it’s actually split up into two separate legs. The first will begin on February 15 in Silver Spring, Maryland and will continue until March 14. The second leg will start on April 13 in Philly and end on May 12 in Quebec.

It’s also worth noting that this tour will mark the first time August Burns Red will be setting foot on Canadian soil since 2019.

You can catch the full list of dates below. Tickets go on sale this Friday.
