The Callous Daoboys to Join Protest The Hero and Moon Tooth on Tour This Fall
It’s likely no surprise at this point that we appreciate us some tunes from The Callous Daoboys. Their latest offering Celebrity Therapist is a wild time and should be on anyone’s radar that likes The Dillinger Escape Plan, Mr. Bungle, or any similarly insane bands. And while listening to the album is great, catching them live is even better and if you live in North America, chances are you’ll get your opportunity soon.
Yesterday, the mathcore outfit was announced to be joining Protest The Hero’s headlining “Halloween Is For Always Tour” this Fall with Moon Tooth also on the bill as additional support.
While these announced shows promise to be wild, Protest The Hero will be performing in costume throughout the entire tour. Hence the name of the tour. In addition to the headliner playing in costume, they’re calling on everyone attending to dress up as well. We’re not sure if Moon Tooth or the Daoboys will follow suit, but given the madcap nature of the latter’s music, I wouldn’t put it past ’em.
You can check out The Callous Daoboys, as well as Moon Tooth and Protest The Hero starting his October 12 in Ferndale, Missouri. The tour will ultimately com to an end in Toronto, Ontario at the November 17 show. For the full list of dates, check it out below.
