The Callous Daoboys Will Be the House Band for Two Minutes to Late Night’s Epic Return

Next month, a five year injustice on the metal community will be rectified, as the chucklefucks behind the irreverent talk show and sketch comedy show Two Minutes To Late Night will once again return to the stage before a live audience. It’s an exciting turn of events that hasn’t really left my mind since their announcement back in October.

And while we know they’ll return to their tried and true format, one thing we didn’t know was who would be the house band. Well, as you now know because of the headline above, the equally irreverent Atlanta-based band The Callous Daoboys will take up that responsibility. In previous years, the show relied on Mutoid Man as their house band, but that’s changed at least for the show’s return.

The return show will take place on Thursday, December 14 at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City. Their first confirmed guest will be ex-Every Time I Die guitarist and AEW wrestler Andy “The Butcher” Williams, but that’s not all. For what I think might be the first time ever in the show’s existence, they’re getting the audience involved with the show for what’s being called the Mosh Olympics. Oh and there will be a “hunt for a mysterious Tanya Harding-esque villain,” whatever that means.

Honestly, this shit’s going to be too awesome to miss. Be sure to grab your tickets today.
