Def Leppard and Journey to Tour the U.S. Next Summer, Mötley Crüe Mercifully Nowhere in Sight

0

Unable to stay off the road for too long, Def Leppard are planning yet another huge tour for next summer, only this time it’s staying within the confines of the U.S. and it’s exclusively happening in various Major League Baseball stadiums. Not only that, but they’re taking a who’s-who of rock acts that’s sure to get the country’s dads up in a fervor, as they’ll co-headline the run with Journey, while Steve Miller Band, Heart, and Cheap Trick provide support at various dates.

Kicking off on July 6 in St. Louis, the tour will run until September 8 in Denver. As is to be expected,

You may recall that Def Leppard spent a vast amount of time last year (and parts of this year) hitting up the world’s stadiums with Mötley Crüe. And despite all the controversies and unnecessary old man nudity, that effort was largely considered a financial success. With the Crüe working on a new album though, it only makes sense that a band like Journey is taking their spot.

Each night is sure to be chock full of the hits you’d heard on the radio riding around with your dad or uncle. That’s not to say it’s bad, it just is.

According to the band, Rock Brigade Concert Club members will get a first stab at pre-sale tickets and VIP packages next Tuesday, December 12 at 10 a.m. local time. The general public won’t get a chance at tickets until Friday, December 15 at 10 a.m. local time.
