Photos: The Metal Injection/MetalSucks Holiday Party in Brooklyn Feat. Testament, Revocation and More

Last Wednesday night, some of the coolest motherfuckers in metal came out to not just celebrate the holidays, but also to ring in yet another year of both MetalSucks and Metal Injection on this Earth. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, people in the industry seem to like us. Shocking, I know.

Taking place at The Meadows in Brooklyn, New York, members of Testament, Revocation, Type O Negative/Eye Am, Exciter, Artificial Brain, Candiria, Carbomb, Silvertomb, Alluvial, Moontooth, thoughtcrimes, Judas Priestess, and more came out to jam some killer covers. The drinks were flowing, the smoke machine went into overdrive, and some of us even partook of the wacky tobaccy (it’s legal in the Empire State, so chill out).

But at the end of it all, we got to have a wonderful time with some great people. Some of you may have even been there. But even if you weren’t, we’d like to extend a heartfelt and warm thank you. The holidays are right around the corner and while we may not see eye to eye on everything, we at MetalSucks would like to think of ourselves as our drunk/stoned aunts and uncles who fucking love metal and probably should have gotten a haircut a long time ago.
