Darkest Hour Want You to Choke on Their Latest Single “Societal Bile”

0

If you’re lookin’ to end your work week with a certifiable ass beater that’ll get you from now to closing time, then the boys in Darkest Hour have got you covered. Their new album Perpetual | Terminal is out on February 29 via MNRK Heavy and to get people even more hyped for it, they dropped a new track and music video for “Societal Bile.”

As you’d come to expect from Darkest Hour, the song is just over three hours of heavy riffs, thundering rhythms, and pissed off vocals. Honestly, if this doesn’t make you want to elbow drop God, then I’ve got nothing for you. You’re too far gone.

Speaking about the track, guitarist Mike Schleibaum said “Societal Bile” has a sort of hopeful message to it beneath the mayhem.

“This song is for survivors. While we all have our own special survival story, this song touches on the bile that immerses us as we navigate this modern life. It’s also an acknowledgment of the personal responsibility we all share to ourselves to reject all that attempts to consume us and fight each day to find our own space to exist in peace with a world at war. It’s dedicated to everyone who’s got that survivor’s disease and won’t ever give up.”

Perpetual | Terminal will be released on February 29 via MNRK Heavy, but you can preorder your copy today. If you’re looking to catch them live, they’ll be heading out on tour with I Am, Mouth For War, and Somnuri on the same day the new album drops, so be sure to check out the full list of dates below.
