Danish metal act Mnemic have made fans very happy with the announcement that after 18 years off, they will reunite for a 20th anniversary show across the U.S.

The classic lineup will include Michael Bøgballe, guitarists Mircea Gabriel Eftemie and Rune Stigart, bassist Tomas “Obeast” Koefoed, and drummer Brian “Brylle” Rasmussen. They will be taking the shows by storm playing some of the classics that they’re known for.

To make things even more exciting, this show is the first time this version of the band has played live together since 2005, which was when Bøgballe left the band and was replaced by the late Guillaume Bideau, who also helped to shape the band’s history. According to the press release, they’ll be recreating a sound that has been lost for two decades.

“Fans both long-standing and newly-acquainted, can anticipate a full on energetic performance featuring songs from the acclaimed inaugural albums, Mechanical Spin Phenomena and Audio Injected Soul released respectively in 2003 and 2004 via Nuclear Blast Records.”

Known as one of the bands that helped pioneer the DJent sound of today with their palm-muted breaks and melodic interludes, they will be playing classic tracks like “Liquid,” “Ghost,” and “Deathbox.”

With a devoted fan base spanning an impressive 150 countries, Mnemic’s music continues to reverberate with audiences across the globe. The band eagerly anticipates the opportunity to connect with fans through their upcoming live performances which will be announced very soon!
