Post-metal outfit The Ocean indulged in some California love last Friday during their ongoing ‘Holocene Tour,’ as they played the Brick By Brick in San Diego. Along with supporting acts The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die and Shy, Low, the trio of bands claimed the night and put on a show to remember.
With this being The Ocean’s first U.S. headline tour in a decade, they put it all out there to make up for lost time. At least, that’s what’s evident in the images shared below. Captured by insanely talented photographer Derek Tobias, you can get a sense for how intense and in the moment each band on the bill were.
