Melvins Release Clothing Collab with Supreme

0

Looks like Korn ain’t the only ones getting into the clothing collaboration business, as Melvins just announced they’d be teaming up with famous clothing brand Supreme.

The streetwear brand officially dropped the collaboration yesterday. The line of clothing contains shirts, polo shirts, hats, jackets, and even a pillow featuring the iconic two-headed dog from their 1993 album Houdini. The collab goes live today at 11 a.m. MST.

Those who are familiar with either the band or the brand won’t be surprised at the items in this collaboration. They highlight some of Melvins’ most iconic moments while also making sense with the streetwear brand’s overall look and vibe.

Naturally, the prices are steep, which has angry fans complaining in the comments on Melvins’ page — as if metal nerds don’t spend all their money on rare merch already, but that’s beside the point. It seems to only be a problem if a designer clothing brand is involved in the collab as well.

Melvins say on socials about the new collection:

“Our collaboration with @supremenewyork drops this THURSDAY (tomorrow) on supreme.com and in their retail stores. Shirts, jackets, hoodies, hats and a PILLOW. SNOOZING = LOOZING.”

Supreme add on their own page:

“Supreme Week 13 – Full Droplist & Retail Prices Marvins collaboration, Spring Sunglasses, Ultrasuede Mesh Baseball Jersey & Shorts and more lookbook pieces

“Let me know what you’re going for this week

This might be out of a lot of fans’ price ranges, but still, stay tuned for more info if you’re able to swing for any of these items. This may be your only chance to get Melvins clothes that also bear the name of a famous designer.
