Year Of The Goat Realize “The Power Of Eve” in Latest Single
Swedish occult rock outfit Year Of The Goat is releasing their first new album in six years this coming September with Trivia Goddess. It’s a pretty big deal for ’em, having not released anything since 2019’s Novis Orbis Terrarum Ordinis.
To mark the fast approaching occasion, Year Of The Goat released a new single from the album titled “The Power Of Eve.” It’s the second new single from the forthcoming record, which the band says is based heavily on the stories of “real women, devalued as the lesser sex by churches and by men of a petty god, rising up against the real structures of evil in the world, in true Satanic fashion.”
As for “The Power Of Eve,” the band said it’s all about that Eve. You know, the one that met the snake that one time and ate something she wasn’t supposed to…
“’[…but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.’ Genesis 2:17
“Eve challenged the lie uttered by the “God” and did not die on that day. The only one who told the truth in the story was the serpent. Eve gave us all the power to see where the true evil lies, it is not with the serpent, satan or Lucifer…”
Trivia Goddess will be released on September 12 via Napalm Records, but you can preorder your copy today.
