Dumbass MAGA Chuds Pee Their Britches Over GWAR “Killing” Trump and Musk on Stage

This past weekend, Riot Fest took place in Chicago and one of the major acts playing that gig was none other than GWAR. You know, the band of intergalactic space pirates that were sequestered to Earth as punishment and inadvertently created the human race and now spends its days murdering powerful human figures and terrorizing venue cleaning teams the world over? Yeah. That band.

Well, it turns out that some jackass MAGA chuds either just found out about GWAR’s whole schtick or they’re purposefully acting thick to score political points during a particularly fraught moment, because people got all up in their feels over a little simulated murder of noted racists Elon Musk and President Donald Trump. Over on social media, various conservative influencers bashed GWAR for “promoting violence” and “inciting” political assassinations.

Comments like “This is incitement. They know exactly what they’re doing” and “That’s not edgy, it’s grotesque and reckless and normalizes violence against a real person” feel like they’re straight out of The Onion, rather than real life. But here we are, I guess.

Where the fuck were these people over the last 40 years or so? Because like… unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know the wanton slaughter of high profile figures (usually just the bad guys, really) is kind of GWAR’s thing. They’ve killed scores of stupid fucking humans on stage all in the name of spraying yet another bodily fluid on their crowds. The organizers behind Riot Fest said it the best, really:

“Like I know this is a rage bait engagement farming twitter account, but ‘GWAR crossed a major line’ is one of the funniest fucking things I’ve ever heard.”

It really is. Where was the outrage when GWAR killed Hillary or Bill Clinton? What about when they decapitated Obama or Bernie Sanders or various Popes over the years? Y’all were real quiet when that was going on, weren’t ya?

Political satire has always been a huge part of GWAR’s act, so it’s just funny to see dumb ass MAGA chuds finally discover GWAR.

Now, if this outrage gets us another classic interview like the one they did with Joan Rivers, I am all for it. But if it’s another dumbass attempt from the right to try to silence a comedic act because they made fun of their Depends shitting God-king Donald Trump, then they can fuck right off. You’re all so unserious.
