Vitriol’s Kyle Rasmussen Left at a Gas Station in Vermont as the Rest of the Band Quits Mid-Tour
Boy, oh boy, is this story a doozy. In a post on his social media feed, now-ex Vitriol guitarist Keith Morrow has revealed that he and his bandmates not named Kyle Rasmussen have quit the band mid-tour. Not only that, but it sounds like they left their former frontman at a Vermont gas station to fend for himself.

“HE FUCKED AROUND AND FOUND OUT. I’LL BE HOME FOR THANKSGIVING, BABY. SORRY VITRIOL FANS. WE HAD TO ABANDON HIM AT A GAS STATION IN VERMONT.
“MYSELF, ANDY, BRETT, AND MATT WILL NOT TAKE KYLE’S COWARDLY AND WEAK OUTBURSTS OF MISPLACED ANGER. WE GAVE EVERYTHING WE HAD, AND NOW HAVE NOW LEFT YOU WITH NOTHING. MASS EXODUS. THIS WAS THE DARKEST DAY OF MY MUSIC CAREER TO DATE.”
Turnover in the Vitriol camp is nothing new, but this is a whole new level of “fuck you”-ness. We have yet to hear anything from Rasmussen himself on this matter, but I’m sure that’s only coming in due time. Dude probably has to get his bearings straight in the Green Mountain State, after all.
Whether or not Vitriol is still techincally touring with Weeping is still up in the air at this point.
