Atreyu have a new album coming out, and I literally can’t be bothered to Google the name. The word Damned is in it, I think. It comes out, like, whenever.

Eh, at least Alex has his Suicide Notes/The Curse era scream back, but it’s been kinda hard to care about this band after the shit-tastic album they released in ‘07.
I guess for anyone who cares, the album is called ‘Congregation of the Damned’ and it comes out October 27th.

I’ll chime in with the other two people that don’t despise/feel completely apathetic towards these guys and say that I think this is probably the best thing they’ve released since the Curse. The last album was horrendous.
Btw, I think it’s amusing how little people care about this band now when, back in the day, Deathgrip was on either Axl or Vince’s top albums of the year and literally every time anything about Lead Sails was released Metalsucks posted about it.
I guess it goes to show how one bad cd can fuck up a band.

are you stupid, oh wait of course you are!, Atreyu is one of the best bands ever they have great variations of songs unlike disturbed or bullet for my valentine who constantly have music that sounds the same. They are the perfect combination of screaming and singing with good rifs’s to back it up. I cant wait for their new album because its going to be HEAVY but pussy’s like you dont like HEAVY music. DONT EVER INSULT ATREYU THEY ARE DOMINANT (i wonder if This is Necessary is a retard or dosen’t have ears so thats why he is insulting this AWESOME band)

While it’s obvious that you’re approximately 12, Hates ThisIsNecessary, you have a lot to learn about good heavy music. Atreyu is most certainly not dominant, unless you mean that they dominate the listening charts of teenage girls just getting past the Jonas Brother and Miley Cyrus.

Seems okay. Sure their last album was not up to their past material, I think every band has that happen. I guess because they don’t sound like a sack of rocks getting flushed down a toilet, like JFaC, then they suck according to you ‘metal experts’
