Guys, I really, really, sincerely and unironically love the song “Africa” by Toto. I don’t know what to say. That shit is catchy as hell and whisks me back to my youth, when it was ubiquitous on the radio. You were either there and remember how awesome the song was, or you weren’t and I feel bad for you.

Now Ben Robson’s Robot Zombie Army has covered the track, and made a video to boot. Someday, I’m sure I’ll get tired of Robson’s tomfoolery — but not today. I mean, this cover has FRIGGIN’ KAZOO SOLO,  so you can’t say that Robson fails to put his own spin on the material. And besides, he told me if I didn’t post this, “I promise to buy every Axel Rudi Pell album twice”… and I just can’t have that.

Robson “just finished up a remastered/spiffed-up version” of the previously released RZA EP, 42 Up. It features all the songs that were already on it, plus the Toto cover, plus a brand new song. Get it here.
