IT’S TIME TO TOUR: TURBID NORTH HIT THE ROAD

Before we go any further: Turbid North may be good on record, but holy are they ever GREAT live. If the Trudge Tour is coming to your town or city, consider yourself blessed.

Now then: Turbid North have released a highly entertaining trailer video for their upcoming 27 date / 18 state U.S. tour, set to kick off August 13th and end September 8th:

Some observations:

• Apparently former Destro drummer Jono Garrett, who now calls the inside of a drum road case his home, has joined Turbid North. Sweet. Hope that fart box of a van works out better for ya than that road case, dude.
• I’m tickled by the idea that members of Turbid North stand in front of their stereos headbanging and drive around in their cars growling in their spare time. Badass.
• India now looks eerily just like a newly minted subdivision in suburban Texas. The times they are a changin’. (side note: weak yoga moves, brah).
• Note to bands on the road: 15-passenger tour vans instantly turn into minivans when you drive them off a cliff. Good to know.

Guys, I can’t stress this enough: make sure you see Turbid North on this tour if you can! If only I could be so lucky. Dates below:
