NEW ACACIA STRAIN SONG AND LYRIC VIDEO: “VICTIMS OF THE CAVE”
If any you guys woke up on the wrong side of the bed today, worry not, for The Acacia Strain are here to cheer you up with a brand new song and lyric video! Vincent “Yogi Berra” Bennett’s typically optimistic lyrical content about bunnies, kittens, rainbows and fairies is sure to take that frown of yours and turn it upside down!
“Someday soon even death may die” might top our previous all-time fave TAS lyric: “When you’re dead you’re done you’re dead you died!” Actually, naw, nothing’s ever gonna top that.
In any case, this song SLAMS and it does so hard. In addition to all the usual TAS-isms there’s a sick elephants marching riff at the end followed by some Slayer-style satanic shit to close out the song.
“Victims of the Cave” comes from Death Is The Only Mortal — whose sweet album artwork seems connected to that of previous album Wormwood — out October 9th via Rise Records.
