Meek is Murder Saw a Ghost (Moth)!

“Ghost Moth” is somewhat of an oddity on Meek is Murder’s new album, Everything is Awesome Nothing Matters. Like the track “Bridge Burner” on Magrudergrind’s self-titled 2009 release, it’s totally awesome, but not at all indicative of the rest of the album’s sound. The fact that it stands out on the album isn’t at all a bad thing, though; in fact, I suspect it’s uniqueness will make it that much more of a favorite amongst listeners. I kinda get the impression that the Magruderguys are sick of being asked about “Bridge Burner,” and I would not be at all surprised if someday in the not-too-distant future, the Meek is Murderers were sick of being asked about “Ghost Moth.” Really blows to write something that awesome, doesn’t it?
