Nachtmystium’s Blake Judd Released From Prison
It’s been just about a month since Nachtmystium mastermind Blake Judd was arrested on charges of theft by unauthorized control of property not exceeding $500. As previously reported, his court date was this past Friday, November 1, and it looks like he’s out… and, unsurprisingly, chalks his crime up to ongoing substance abuse issues.
In a post on his Facebook page which seems to have since been removed, Judd, apparently a staunch hater of paragraph breaks, had the following to say:
While it’s a little odd to begin by saying “the last month wasn’t that big of a deal” and then announce that you’re seeking treatment for drug abuse, admit that you’ve ripped off fans, and declare that you’re leaving music for the foreseeable future (and somehow not mention that some shows had to be cancelled because you were in jail — bands apologize for missing shows due to far less dramatic circumstances all the time)… the important thing here is that Judd gets the help he needs and hopefully, finally kicks this horrible habit.
And if he reaches the peak of that tumultuous mountain and decides he wants to keep on making extreme music, that would be swell, too.
Major thanks to Stephen P. for providing the screen caps of Blake’s post.
