Jason McCash, Former Bassist for The Gates of Slumber, Has Passed Away

The news broke yesterday via the band’s Facebook page, after someone posted the following message:

Despite any explicit lack of identification within the post, other media outlets have since confirmed that the message was left by guitarist/vocalist Karl Simon, and that he is, indeed, referring to McCash, who passed away on Saturday, April 5 at the age of thirty-seven. We do not currently know the cause of death. McCash is survived by his wife, Bridget, and their three children; you can make donations to the family here.
