Slipknot Have FINALLY Announced All the Details of Their New Album (Plus: A New Song!)

We knew this was coming, but now it has come: Slipknot have, at last, announced the details of their new album. And when I say “Slipknot,” I mean “iTunes and Amazon,” both of which seems to have beaten the band to the announcementSlipknot Have FINALLY Announced All the Details of Their New Album (Plus: A New Song!). Oops. Well, no big deal. I’m sure Clown is remaining perfectly calm. That seems in keeping with his personality.

ANYWAY, the album is going to be called .5: The Gray Chapter, which I guess technically makes it a prequel to all the other Slipknot albums. It’ll be out October 21 on Roadrunner. Here’s the track list…

If you’re one of those people who’s like “Slipknot sound too much like Stone Sour now,” well, hey, guess what? This song isn’t gonna do much to convince you you’re wrong.
