Streami Melechesh’s Enki
Here in the U.S., we’re still two-and-a-half weeks away from the release of Enki, the latest offering from self-proclaimed “Sumerian thrashing black metal” band Melechesh. But because the people at Nuclear Blast — extremely cool, hard-working folks though they are! — didn’t read about why it’s not a good idea to have different release dates in different territories in this day and age, Europeans will be able to purchase the album a week from today. As a result, Enki is now streaming on YouTube!
Which is swell news, silly jokes about release scheduling aside. I’m sure some of you will disagree with me, but I think Enki is vastly superior to the band’s last release, 2010’s The Epigenesis. I mean, I liked TheEpigenesis, but Enki blows it out of the mosh pit.
Crank Enki below. Euros can buy it on February 27, Brits on March 2, and ‘Muhricans on March 10. Don’t ask me about the rest of the world, I have no idea.
