The Full Terror Assault Festival is THIS WEEKEND!
Full Terror Assault — the first REAL open-air metal festival to take place in these United States — is this coming weekend!
The three-day festival in Cave-In Rock, Illinois starts tomorrow (Thursday) and runs through Saturday. It’ll feature everything we’ve been hearing for decades about the massive summer metal festivals in Europe like Hellfest and Wacken: multiple stages, a wide variety of bands, camping, food vendors, debauchery, the whole nine. On top of that it’s in a part of the country that’s fairly easy to get to from a lot of different places.
Best of all: three-day passes are just $59.50, including camping!! That’s a little over $1 per band, which is insane. And best of all, the fest is BYOB, meaning you won’t have to pay insane beer prices — just bring in whatever you want and drink to your heart’s content!
