Shooting Racists in a Barrel: A Response to Varg’s Response
It has been brought to my attention that one Mr. V. Vikernes has posted a video rejecting my claims that his incredibly racist role playing game, MYFAROG, is incredibly racist.
I could write a rebuttal of his points in the video, but instead of noting how there’s been continued scholarly disagreement on whether or not Tolkien’s work had racist undertones, or mentioning how pointing out that you can only play light-skinned people and that all the dark skinned people have fangs doesn’t exactly do a good job of supporting his argument, or savoring the irony of being labeled an assassin by a guy who killed his friend in a cold-blooded, paranoiac rage, I think I’ll just post examples of people from the YouTube comments who agree with Mr. Vikernes that his work is definitely not racist.

So, there you go. I’ve presented the opposing side’s argument, unedited. It’s now up to you to decide who you agree with. I think I’ll end with a comment from someone on Facebook who did a pretty excellent job of summing this whole stupid thing up.
