The Acacia Strain Encounter Heavy Balls in “Send Help” Video

Remember the bowling alley in 1982? The Acacia Strain sure does. Their latest video for “Send Help” shows the band crushing the lanes at their local bowling establishment in more pastels and headbands than you’ll find at your too-fit great aunt’s house. Take a look below.

Something that Axl pointed out to me, though, is that the goofily-dressed bowling video has already been done pretty well by The Black Dahlia Murder, for the track “Necropolis.” And while The Acacia Strain go a little more for Tuesday night with Nana to BDM’s disco Saturday with the boys, one can’t help but notice the similarities between the two videos. But the question isn’t whether or not Acacia ripped of Dahlia, it’s whether or not we can get a mash-up with the two bowling each other in the hopes of winning modern death metal supremacy. Someone want to start a petition?

Anyway, here’s “Send Help” from the band’s 2014 Rise Records release Come Witch. They start a tour with Fit For An Autopsy this week, so check out dates here.
