Anthraxi Driver or: That Time Anthrax Met Robert De Niro

  • Axl Rosenberg

Anthrax were on Late Night with Seth Meyers last night to perform their new single, “Monster at the End” (which just so happens to be my personal favorite song on their new album, For All Kings). Which is cool! But what everyone will really forever remember about the appearance is this photograph:

Anthrax with Robert De Niro

Gee willikers, that’s neat! And not only was De Niro kind of enough to pose for the photograph, but I hear he also took the time to demonstrate, live and in the flesh, his acting chops for the band: “Your voice sounded great tonight,” he told Joey Belladonna with a straight face.

The “Monster at the End” performance is available for your viewing pleasure below. The band sounds killer despite Joey being Joey. They kick off a tour with Slayer and Death Angel next month. Get dates here.
