Gorguts are Plotting a Tour with Defeated Sanity and Exist

If you call yourself a death metal fan and you haven’t seen Gorguts live yet you’re doing it all wrong. They’re one of the most frighteningly tight bands I’ve ever seen — just completely dominating.

If you’ve seen them play before you know exactly what I’m talking about, but there’s really no reason not to go and see them again: after playing a few shows in Canada in April with Dysrhythmia, they look to be planning a U.S. tour in June with Defeated Sanity and Exist opening. Brooklyn Vegan reports that a few dates have slipped out so far:

6/6 The Agora Ballroom Cleveland, OH
6/7 Reggies Chicago, IL
6/15 White Oak Music Hall Houston, TX
6/19 The Masquerade Atlanta, GA
6/21 Strange Matter Ricmond, VA
6/22 Metro Gallery Baltimore, MD
6/23 Le Poisson Rouge New York, NY
6/24 Brighton Music Hall Boston, MA

There are some pretty big gaps in that routing, so presumably (and hopefully) more dates will be announced soon. Stay tuned.

And here are those Canadian dates with Dysrhythmia:

4/11 Salon Wabasso de la Shop du Trou du diable Shawinigan, QC
4/12 L’Anti Bar & Spectacles Quebec, QC*
4/14 Bar Le Magog Sherbrooke, QC*
4/15 La Sala Rossa Montreal, QC
