Gene Simmons Doesn’t Regret Trying to Trademark the Devil’s Horns Hand Sign

Never mind that the entire world — as well as the widow of the guy who actually invented the devil’s horns hand sign — called Gene Simmons the scumbag he is for attempting to trademark the much beloved, universal sign for metal: despite withdrawing his application days later, Simmons says he doesn’t regret anything!

In a recent interview with Windsor Star, Simmons dug in, asserting his god-given right to do whatever he wants like a defiant toddler in a grocery store insisting his mom buy cookies:

“I regret nothing. Wake up every morning and let your conscience be your guide.

“Did you know I own the money bag logo? The dollar sign with the bag of money. I own all kinds of things. I own ‘motion pictures’ as a trademark. Anyone who thinks that’s silly — the silliest thing I’ve ever done is wear more makeup and higher heels than your mommy.

“People said, ‘You can’t do that.’ Actually, bitch — I can. I can do anything I want to do.”

Yes, you can, Gene, but that doesn’t change the fact that you’re a the ultimate asshole for doing so.

Let’s all take this opportunity to re-watch this video of Simmons falling down on stage and landing on his ass:
