…And That’s How I Ended Up Writing About the New Threat Signal Song

  • Axl Rosenberg

Threat Signal, the band I always confuse with Diecast, is back! The band has released “Exit the Matrix,” their first new song in six years. Wisely, the band’s team decided to release the track after I’d been sitting at my desk with an empty inbox for an hour and was desperate for a way to amuse myself. Consequently, I actually listened to it.

And you know what? It was perfectly painless! In fact, I downright enjoyed the guitar solo. I actually listened to it twice. The solo. Not the whole song. I said it was painless, not that I was eager to give it another go.

“Exit the Matrix” will appear on Diecast’s Disconnect, which comes out November 10 on Agonia.
