Get Progtastic with Skyharbor’s New Song “Dim”

What’s the first thing you think of when you hear the term “sunshine dust?” I bet it’s not prog metal. But don’t worry, Indian/American proggers Skyharbor are here to fix that: Sunshine Dust is the name of their upcoming LP that’s been nearly four years in the making.

The first single from the record, titled “Dim,” is a shimmering, ethereal track that’s anything but what its title would suggest. Those of you who are into clean, Periphery-esque vocals and affable chugging should give “Dim” a try — it’s about as far removed as you can get from blast beats and gnarly riffs. Take a listen via the below music video.

Sunshine Dust will be coming your way on September 7th and can be pre-ordered here. And guess what?! Skyharbor are on the road right now with Babymetal! Interesting lineup choice, but hey, I’m not complaining. Remaining tour dates are under the video.
