Glacial Tomb (Featuring Khemmis, ex-Abigal Williams Members) Signs To Gilead Media, Announces Tour With Immortal Bird

We’re big fans of scathing Denver death metal crew Glacial Tomb here at MetalSucks; even if they didn’t hate Nazis, we’d still think their music is fucking killer.

Now, the band has announced two pieces of good news. First, Glacial Tomb has signed with Gilead Media, the Oshkosh, WI-based label whose roster includes Brooklyn’s Krallice and Minneapolis’ False. Second, the band will be hitting the road for ten days this month with sludgy black metallers Immortal Bird, with each show including awesome local openers like Occultist, Pyrrhon, Dreadnought, and more.

All of which is, well, rad as the Dickens. Gilead are a perfect fit for Glacial Tomb — a low-to-the-ground label in an overlooked American city that puts out bone-scraping experimental shit. And the upcoming shows will give us all a chance to have our bones scraped by them live.

It’s one of those rare, beautiful moments where there’s nothing bad to say in a MetalSucks post. Everything is awesome.

Tour dates below, and keep up with Glacial Tomb on the band’s Twitter and Bandcamp pages.
