Dee Snider (Twisted Sister, duh) has been teasing his new solo album, which was produced by Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed, double-duh), almost long enough to gestate a human child. So it is with some relief that I report Mr. Snider has finally unveiled a single from the record, “Tomorrow’s No Concern.” And it is with even more relief that I report the song is pretty good! I don’t know if it’s gonna win Dee many new, young fans, but olds like me will surely appreciate its thrashy, hooky goodness. If the rest of the album is this good, it will end up being Snider’s best work since Stay Hungry more than thirty years ago. Go, Dee, go.

Check out “Tomorrow’s No Concern” below (via Billboard). Dee’s new album is called For the Love of Metal, it drops July 27 on Napalm, and it features guest appearances from Howard Jones (Light the Torch, ex-Killswitch Engage), Mark Morton (Lamb of God), Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy), Joel Grind and Nick Bellmore (Toxic Holocaust), and Charlie Bellmore (Kingdom of Sorrow). Pre-order it here.
