What Does Chris Barnes Think of Thy Art is Murder’s New Song “Death Squad Anthem”?

Last time Thy Art is Murder released a new song, “Human Target,” the title stoked the ire of notoriously cranky Six Feet Under frontman Chris Barnes, who called the band “hacks” and accused them of ripping off his 1995 song of the same name. I don’t particular care for Thy Art is Murder and I don’t particularly care for Six Feet Under, but boy, was that entertaining! Almost as entertaining as the time Barnes called survivors of the Florida school shooting “crisis actors.”

Thy Art is Murder have today released another new track called “Death Squad Anthem.” While there’s no Six Feet Under song called “Death Squad Anthem,” the band once titled an album Death Rituals, and seeing as Barnes has ownership over the word “death” when it comes to metal titles, presumably he’ll be quite angry. We anxiously await his next social media tirade on this topic.

While you’re waiting for that, you can listen to the new Thy Art is Murder song below. It sounds like a Thy Art is Murder song. Human Target comes out on July 26th.
