Seer Debut New Single, “Children of The Dying Light”

Canada has left one big old moose-shaped stamp on the metal community by breeding some of your favorite acts such as Cryptopsy, Kataklysm, Protest the Hero, Beyond Creation and 3 Inches of Blood, to name a few. The most recent band to come from the Poutine nation that you should most definitely know about is Seer, a doom/sludge metal quintet delivering nothing but brain-searing riffs.

The band’s newest single, “Children of The Dying Light” has premiered via Adult Swim Singles. Seer have expanded their primarily doom-driven sound from previous albums by incorporating elements of black and death metal while still maintaining the progressive and cosmic qualities of their music. The single features the heavenly synth contributions of Robin Harris (Wormwitch), and was mixed/mastered by Colin Marston (Gorguts, Krallice, Dysrhythmia, etc.).
