Bruce Dickinson Stops Iron Maiden Show After Security Guards Assault Fan

0

Bruce Dickinson stopped Iron Maiden’s show last night, September 5, at the Tacoma Dome after a fan in the front row was roughed up so badly by security that he was bleeding from the head and had to be treated by medical professionals backstage.

While footage of the alleged assault has yet to surface, Northwest Music Scene shared a fan-filmed video of Dickinson’s address to the audience, which lasted nearly two minutes. According to Bruce, he personally witnessed a security guard punch a fan in the head four times and saw ten total guards jump in to the fracad. He then encouraged the fan to “take this building to the fucking cleaners,” to riotous applause, and asked for anyone with footage of the incident to send it to the band so they could facilitate in helping the fan sue. “It’s not necessary, it’s not big, it’s not clever. It’s just called bullying. It’s as simple as that. So this is a very appropriate song,” he concluded, as the band launched into “The Evil That Men Do.”

Watch video of Bruce’s crowd address below. We’ll post footage of the assault if it ends up making the rounds. The Tacoma Dome has to post an official statement on the incident.
