Black Label Society / Obituary Tour Announced, Cancelled

Well, this is bizarre.

Black Label Society announced a tour with Obituary and Lord Dying… and then cancelled that tour… all within an hour.

MetalSucks never received a press release, but the announcement went up on Blabbermouth earlier today, complete with an itinerary and admat.

But head over to the Facebook pages of either BLS or Obituary, and you’ll find no mention of the trek anywhere. Why not? Lambgoat points out Lord Dying are saying “this tour is no longer happening” as the result of “unforeseen sudden circumstances beyond our control.”

And it might be tempting to think Lord Dying just mean they won’t be able to do the tour… but, again, there’s no mention of it anywhere on the other bands’ Facebook pages, which leads me to believe that Lord Dying do indeed mean the entire thing has been called off.

So, like I said: bizarre.
